They looked to be like blood stains on the wall by the light switch in the bathroom. The number nine did not work on the TV remote. The ice machine was gone. The door was open, going into the laundry area and it was a very dirty floor

Lovely room a short drive away from restaurants. On the day we checked in the room wasn’t ready and we had to wait in reception until about 3.30pm. I understand that the hotel was short staffed, but it was frustrating to see other guests arriving and checking in, especially as there was no public restroom. Staff were very helpful and apologetic.

The property was not clean or maintained especially in the common areas. During check in we reserved the suite but the toilet seat was broken and they didn’t have the parts. So the said that we could have 2 adjoining rooms . We got the keys to the rooms but they were occupied. Same thing happened again. Then the third time the office person checked the rooms to be sure they were cleaned and available. The AC kept shutting down and the close rack was not screwed to the wall on one side. Shower rod was loose. The orange juice was watered down.

The back parking lot is gravel and had a ton of tall weeds. We had to park and walk around them. Half an hour with a weed eater would have made it look a lot better, and not been so inconvenient walking around. They also do not have an elevator so if you have heavy luggage and not fully physically capable, ask for a first floor room ahead of time.

This Super 8 - Wyndham Hotel is an example of what happens when a facility is not managed or maintained. Don’t waste your time looking at any rooms. Odds are not in your favor for an acceptable experience. Find somewhere else. I’d recommend a local cabin that is privately owned.

This is an older hotel and it shows its age. Our room was quite small; we could barely get around each other and our luggage. The HVAC unit did not work properly. When I turned the fan to low setting it seemed rather loud. I then tried medium and high. All three settings had the same speed. We eventually just turned it off. Luckily, the outside temperature was such that we could do this. The only hot thing on the hot breakfast was the minimal supply of sausage patties. The packaged muffin was stale and seemed old.
