"Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! "Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."

"A truly exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a lovely balcony, and the staff were very friendly. Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there."
