An enjoyable stay ( again ) for 2 elderly visitors from Australia. Rooms are clean, with comfortable bedding and amenities, good breakfast and a great place for dinner. The hotels location is good for travelling around Yorkshire and its closeness to the airport is good too.

We stayed for a weekend due to a wedding we were having nearby. The room was clean and enough for what we were planning to do that it was just rest. When we came back from the wedding we stayed for an hour talking in the lobby downstairs with other people from the wedding that stayed in the same hotel, and even though it was during the early morning already the staff was amazing and really nice to us (of course we tried to be as quiet and respectful as possible all the time). Thanks hotel Britannia for a really good experience

We stayed in the hotel before a flight from Leeds Bradford airport. The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly. It’s just a little dated but fine for a one night stay. It’s a short 5 minute drive to the airport, so ideal location for an overnight stay before a flight.

Good stay again staff really helpful and welcoming. Room had everything you needed. WiFi could do with an upgrade bit slow and hard to connect. I think the carpark should be free for guests staying at the hotel. Would definitely use again if working in the area

We enjoyed our stay and it was excellent value for money. The hotel garden is very nice, but rather than being able to admire the lovely garden down the corridor to the leisure facilities, there is a thick net curtain? The tea and coffee in the room is nice, and freely available in reception There is a small fee for using the pool, and it is very well maintained and the spa area and changing rooms were spotless both times we used them. There's plenty of parking at only a small fee per night.

Whilst the staff on reception were very polite and pleasant. The hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. Dated to the core, the room had damp by the windows, poor lighting and an uncomfortable bed with an ill fitting headboard. Fire alarm going off at 2am was horrendous. The walls are so thin you can hear next doors TV and toilet habits. There also seemed to be a large foreign contingent staying who were very loud and disruptive.
