Friendly helpful staff. Room clean, but hot, but a fan was supplied. Tea coffee choc and biscuits available in the room. The shower was good, toiletries nice. Breakfast was fantastic. The croissants were big and warm. The eggs benedict were cooked to perfection and the staff were very attentive, with more coffee if required. Only slight minus, was that we overlooked the car park so we could hear everyone going to their cars.... but as it was a Sunday morning it wasn't too early. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Everything about our stay was fabulous. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I had a problem with the radiator in the bathroom. I mentioned it at reception and within minutes someone was there to sort the problem. Food exception! The evening meal choices and quality of the food in the restaurant was fantastic, as was the breakfast. Highly recommend The Craven Heifer.

Our stay at the Craven Hiefer hotel The room was very tired looking ,Stains on the carpet, the sheets on the bed. Not ironed towels hard and very creased ,the crack in the wash basin ,dirty skirting boards. The lady that we saw briefly one morning was asked to replenish the tea,coffee, didn’t happen she didn’t vacuum one day she didn’t even wipe the sides unfortunately the room we had let it down badly but it was room 13 😱 Now the staff in the hotel were absolutely wonderful we couldn’t have asked for for nicer people from bar staff to catering they were a credit to the place , everything that was wrong or missing in the room they sorted it for us and the kept apologiesing The breakfast was very good everything you could wish for service was very good cheerful staff and efficient., We ate in the restaurant in the evening the food was wonderful couldn’t have been more pleased with everything down in the bar and restaurant. For us the room let it down , now when l booked the room l told the person l spoke to that l had mobility problems with my legs, but she didn’t mention that to get to the lodge thief was 22 steps which you had to climb to access the building . This really should be addressed . If l had fallen down the steps doesn’t bare thinking about thankfully didn’t happen.perhaps an outside moterbility lift would be helpful a lot of people would benefit from that. All in all we had a lovely stay (apart from the room ) never mind enjoyed our stay .🙋‍♀️
