"Really lovely, fancy hotel. The staff were nice and agreeable but lacked follow through. We were missing a couple of items in our rooms, requested them from staff, and then they were never delivered. I was told they would accommodate our request for quiet rooms, and we were placed by an ice machine, a door where staff were coming and going, and above the pool where they play music evenings and weekend. Also a lack of fast casual dining. I was there with teens, but the dining in the hotel was...

"The 6 day stay was amazing. It started immediately, as when I checked in I was upgraded to a suite. The staff in all areas functioned at the pinnacle of professionalism. From the spa to thevredtsurantvto the front desk and door staff, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience."

"What a brilliant hotel!!! The staff were outstanding! My room was huge and extremely well-equipped (“full kitchen” literally means a full kitchen…!). The included breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast room was big enough to accommodate many people. I loved everything about this hotel! Being downtown, homelessness in the area is evident, but the hotel is secure. The area is walkable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Houston. As I said, the staff were amazing and are a true asset to the hotel....

"Awesome staff from parking to front desk! Upgraded to presidential for more space. My daughter's prom sendoff was perfect. Room was clean window seals need a good dusting tho! View from 16th floor was beautiful! Lobby was nice! Maintenance provided me with trash bags to clean up our mess! So I'm glad I chose holiday Inn downtown Houston."
