"Be careful if booking on Expedia! It clearly states a double room can sleep 3, when actually it’s just 2! I booked thinking there must be a pull out bed but unfortunately there isn’t. "Very friendly staff. Our room was in the main building up more stairs from the entrance. We were on the top floor. He took my suitcase and carried it up 4 flights of stairs. Lovely family room with fantastic views. The bath was wonderful! Complimentary waters daily and biscuits topped up. Rooms can be serviced daily. Very creaky rooms, I could hear the next-door people quite clearly walking about on the squeaky floorboards and even talking. I dread to think what it would be like in a fire – very confusing interior layout and no signs to the staircases, so that you can easily get lost. Not enough parking either. We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy. Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Shower was lovely and powerful. Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be.
