The Pamodzi Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Very friendly staff but poor condition of the hotel due to renovations- extremely noisy- the hotel should have warned about that in advance- impossible to stay at the hotel between 9 am and around 5 pm - the hotel offered no discount or advance notice regarding the renovations "

Jollyboys Backpackers
10/10 Excellent
"I appreciated the free airport pickup, although I did have to wait a little while. The hostel is quite close to the airport, so the transfer wasn’t long. I booked a private room and believe I was upgraded, it had air conditioning and a spacious bathroom, which made my stay very comfortable. Since I had to leave early most days, the staff kindly prepared takeaway breakfasts for me, and they were tasty. The only downside was that coffee wasn’t included with the free breakfast. The location is convenient, with a grocery store within walking distance, and I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great experience here. In fact, I would have preferred to stay here for my entire trip rather than splitting my stay with the Zimbabwe side, mainly because of how good my experience here, and it’s very affordable too!"

Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Resort is very nice and we loved everything and the pool was the best place to be and the view from our room was the best. The staff was amazing"

StayEasy Lusaka
8/10 Good
"I only stayed for one night during a layover, but overall it was a good experience. The hotel is a bit far from the airport, and their airport transfer is more expensive compared to other providers. However, it’s conveniently located very close to a mall. I didn’t leave the room much since I was just there to rest and have breakfast. I went early for breakfast, so everything was fully stocked and fresh. However, when I went back for a second round, some items had run low and were not refilled. One thing I really appreciated was being able to choose which floor to stay on, which is a great touch since most hotels don’t usually offer that option."

Garden Court Kitwe
6/10 Okay
"Booking was not confirmed via Expedia and had to re-book again on the spot, rate is different, the room is very small to fit in 2 beds, defect on hair dryer, pool water is too cold and is murky, food quality at restaurant is good "

Cargo88 Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"In a very clean and safe shopping center complex next to the University. Good restaurant onsite and plenty others within walking distance across the parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff with an updated design property. Many pricing options should be affordable to most travelers. "

Southern Sun Ridgeway
8/10 Good
"Good room, decent kitchen, nice environment. The menu could be varied more. The steak could have been tenderer. The Kafue Bream less well cooked.
The pool needs cleaning twice a day though. It wasn't clean enough a few times when I wanted to swim."

Radisson Blu Hotel Lusaka
6/10 Okay
"No value for money .. staff also needs to get more serious .. they gave me room which was smelling of dampness"
