"This is a beautiful location and charming property. The staff are attentive and friendly. The grounds are lovely. However, the amenities mentioned on the listing were not available during our stay. We had no wifi or toiletries. After requesting soap and bottled water, we eventually did receive those. Lastly, we requested breakfast for 7am the night before but were not served until about 8:30am. "There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). "The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The garden was really lovey and the pool was a good treat . Mosquito nets didn't fit well, probably not used much. Wifi and tv(dstv) didn't work. The reception was good and food was very tasty "
