"Okay, it's nice enough for hiking and it's clean with a good view. Unfortunately, there is no blow dryer and the communication with the staff is hit or miss. I asked for a 3rd for room with my reservation, but the hotel owners said second floor would be better. Well, you can hear everything from the people above (stomping around and yelling). The area was hit hard from Helene...a lot lf trails still closed and not much for restaurant options in downtown Spruce Pine as they're still recovering."

"Awesome place clean and comfortable"

"Perfect stay every single time. love this adorable inn. Can always expect clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to everything the beautiful town of Burnsville has to offer."

"Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. "

"The room was not clean to satisfaction, The bathroom floor was really nasty, no phone in the room to contact front desk, no hot water in sink, and the shower was not working properly. When you got up off the bed it made a strange noise, This is a terrible place to stay i would not recommend it to anyone!"

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

"Perfect for a short stay. Close to the Blue Ridge and lots of hikes"

"Enjoyed the decor My husband and I found the breakfast delicious and satisfying. I appreciated the beautiful dahlias about the property"

"Perfectly suited for a trip for two in a remote mountain escape. We enjoyed a quiet peaceful stay with the basic necessities."

"Awesome stay in the mountains of NC. 4wd is a requirement for the driveway. Only problem we had was internet access, but that helped my family to unplug and enjoy being where we were located."
