"Clean and spacious room. It kinda expensive in ski season, but still the best choice at Zao, Yamagata. Smoking room is near the lobby, which is a really bad design, you can smell the stinks every time before taking the elevator. Overall, a great place to stay."

"An amazing hotel that I learned about from a friend. Easy to get to as it is directly across from the bus station. Can walk to the ski slopes, which is about five minutes away. Make sure to include breakfast and dinner, as they are amazing served in the room. each room also gets an hour in the private onsen, which is amazing. There is also a public Hot Springs available anytime. English is limited, but the staff are super friendly attentive, and get things done. Ski storage and the set up is perfect to arrive in the morning, Ski, while your room gets ready and then also Ski after you check out. They sell discounted tickets which saves 1100 yen (cash only). "

"Convenient location to the train station. The room is cozy, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The water pressure is great, so it is easy to have a relaxing shower. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and had great options. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day."

"Amazing stay. The amenities were all on the lobby floor from pjs, pillows, to soaps and toothbrushes and even face masks! Instead of a key card, it is a number pass code. The room is spacious with a big bed. There is even a booth table with plenty of leg room. The women's onsen is also number key coded. Overall it was very clean, the staff super friendly, and I was well rested. I would love to stay here again!"
