The room stank. Of vomit in the bedroom and some other vile smell in the bathroom. The sofa bed was astonishingly uncomfortable and very loud if you moved. Breakfast was mediocre."

"We came in late with a large group and for the price didn't expect much, however, this hotel was one of the best and most convenient of our trip. Right by the airport with great transfer options. They were willing to make food for us even though we were in late, but we just ordered uber eats. The rooms were very comfy, really nice bathrooms. Clean towels and comfortable beds and linens. Absolutely one of my best budget hotel experiences and I've been all over the world! Service was great!...

"What l liked was the location, the Castle was just across the road, close to shops and friendly atmosphere. I wasn’t given any breakfast, l asked at reception and was told to go to the Ivy next door. There was no bottled water to drink available. Would l choose this hotel again, sorry guys it’s a definite No as l didn’t get my money’s worth."

"I booked this hotel for a birthday stay in Windsor and it was perfect. The location of the hotel means everything you’ll want to see is within easy walking distance. The hotel was easy to reach via car and had plenty of parking spaces; parking is charged. The staff at the hotel were also lovely. Overall if you’re considering booking this hotel for a stay in Windsor I’d give it a 5 out of 5."

"This McDonald Hotel needs a definite updating. Much of it is outdated and tired looking. The staff and service were excellent and you can’t beat the location. The breakfast buffet was good, but could benefit by rotating items and providing more fresh fruit such as berries. The restaurant is only rated average for dinner with a very traditional and boring menu. The rear exit stair/lift is convenient for getting to Windsor Central train station and it surrounding restaurants and shops, but...

"Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were big and spacious. Feel the carpets, furniture and design are in need of a refresh. There was a musty smell throughout the corridors and the room smelled sweaty. Fortunately I arrived at 11pm so I opened the windows and aired it out which helped with some of the smell. The corridors were dingy and musty tho."
