"Vergane glorie. Jaren geleden was het Senggigi Beach Hotel, een perfect en goed onderhouden. Daarna overgegaan naar een groot concern en vervolgens Merumatta. Geen onderhoud. Kamer stonk, evenals de bedden, kussen en de kast. Ja ruim 20 jaar regelmatig in dit hotel te hebben gezeten, was dit nu nooit meer."

The room house keepers would leave towel animals on the bed and covered the room in flowers, which my daughter loved."

The walls have signs of humidity decay. The pool meant for everyone's use is very small considering. We paid to upgrade because of this. The website says the beach is close. Its not. Its a 35 minute walk. We paid for an all inclusive package. The kitchen had major issues. They tried hard but left things...

"Great concept but not complete yet - Still building at the site - Empty pool etc. rooms are good but small details lacking - nowhere to hang towels for example. Feels a bit hit and miss but overall vibe ok and staff are lovely "

"The staff, air con & bed were very good. However this hotel is more suited to local guests, especially families, than international travelers. Eg the nearest atm is a 15 min taxi ride away. Also this hotel holds large corporate functions so access to the pools can at times be limited."
