"We stayed here with our boys (10-14 years old). The room was large and one of the boys took advantage of sleeping on the full-sized couch. Being across the street from the Quechee Gorge visitor center and trailhead to swimming hole in gorge was a big bonus. We would definitely stay here again."

"Property has a pristine location in front of Lake Champlain and 5 minutes away from Church Street. Location is excellent. Staff is very cordial and eager to please with any request that you may have. The housekeeping staff is fabulous, very helpful and nice. They do accept pets in the hotel and there was a barking dog in one of the rooms of my floor. I did not report it because it was on my last night of the stay and I was leaving the next morning. I am a highly allergic person and every time I enter the room I would cough and sneeze, I believe its because of the rug and the past pet visitors. I would suggest a deep cleaning to the rugs after pets visit. Nevertheless the housekeeping staff came over to "detox" my room every time I called and they were very diligent."

"Great hotel! Our room was spacious and we loved having a full size fridge and mini-kitchen. Insanely loved the bath products (sorry, I love that kind of thing!). We had a great dinner at the restaurant which has a wonderful vibe and friendly staff. When we checked in, the front desk staff forgot to mention breakfast was included (clearly I had forgotten, too)-- took me 2 days to realize that! Breakfast was great. Another plus-- the gigantic backyard/meadow adjacent to the river is stunning and smores at night were an added bonus! They do a great job creating a hotel that is perfect for families, mountain bike travelers, horse show folks, couples getaways. Hard for one place to cover all that. I had booked via an online site which I thought included all fees but there was a small daily added cost. Overall though our total expenditure was LESS than other area hotels and really, this was so beautiful, immaculate, delish and otherwise very hospitable! We will be back!"

"I did not like how the pool was closed during the stay without acknowledgment prior. Im not sure if there is a way for a voucher or coupon code for another stay when it is running. Overall fantastic"
