"We loved our time at the Von Trapp Family Lodge and would love to come back and spend more time in the future. It is a beautiful property with beautifully maintained buildings and grounds and gorgeous flowers throughout. The lovely antiques and family momentos made it a truly special stay for us. Our dinner in the dining room was delicious and our room and bed were comfy and quiet and perfect for our travels!"

"There was no-one around at Check-in and check-out and any other time in-between. The pool was green and spa not working and main building locked and empty. Our room keys were left in a basket at the front door. There was wi-fi but no password and therefore no wi-fi. The published numbers did not answer. The rooms seemed clean enough but it was a ghost town! I am surprised that this was still listed on hotels.com!"

"We had a mountain view room so were treated to a beautiful moon rise at night. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of towels and pillows.
One note - the attached Trailhead restaurant is not open in the summer."
