"This is a real medieval castle! You travel in time when staying at Giomici. The hosts are a wonderful team, excellent communication and service. The room was comfortable and super-clean. We stayed once for the supper, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was plenty and fresh. The locally produced coffee was a nice surprise."

Unfortunately, out of the many daily activities advertised on the website, almost none took place, and the mini club was basically just sitting the children down and make them colour/paint. The swimming pool was always very very busy, and because of the heat, the lake level was very low, it was not very inviting, and no canoe or kayaks were available for hire. "The staff is the best, the hotel is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The only issue we had was the noise coming from the other room and the cleaners in the morning that were extremely loud on a Saturday early morning. There is an obvious issue with the sound proofing. "
