"We enjoyed a wonderful week at Village Beach Cottages ! The atmosphere is welcoming,peaceful & relaxing. It is a lovely property with beautiful views & very friendly people who looked after us so well. Austin was waiting for us at the airport & Claudius was there to take us back when it was time to say goodbye to St Lucia. Everything was looked after.
We learned a lot about the island & history of the property from owner Colin Hunte. He asked us what we’d like to see & do during our stay then...

"Resort was clean, employees were outstanding. Calm beach that works well for families with children. The resort is flat. No big hills to climb like other resorts on the island."

"My stay at Mystic by Royalton in St. Lucia was extremely disappointing. The resort is below standards, has recently been bought out by Royalton and will be shutting down for demolishing starting August. Old and broken fixtures throughout, indicating a severe lack of maintenance. Walls were moldy and demonstrated water damage. The resort was filthy.
The customer service was poor, with unprofessional staff who did not seem to care about guest satisfaction.

"Older traditional resort but well kept. Rooms spotless, great staff. Excellent breakfast including an assortment of local cuisine. Regular scheduled shuttle to the beachfront resort but only a 20 min easy walk. Local shops and supermarket next to hotel. Karaoke at the bar!"

"Ants everywhere in the room and we did not have food or snacks in there.. suitcases, bathroom. We alerted staff on this and they tried to blame us for it. Me and a friend in an entirely different room had the same issue.
When I got back to the states, my house was infected with ants.
Other than that, the breakfast was great, and dinner was OK. Nice plants and pool area. It is the Caribbean’s so if you are a young woman, look out for the strange men on the beach front. If they really like you,...

"The location was ideal for easy access (walking) to the beach and to dining spots and the mall. The reception staff (Sharon) was helpful and even gave me an upgrade to my booked room without me even asking. Thank you, Sharon! There was an internet matter which was addressed speedily by the maintenance man who was very friendly and professional. All-in-All a good experience."
