Simpson Bay Resort, Marina & Spa

"Our condo was ready even though we were early arrivals. The bellman transported us and our gear to the condo, he verified that all keys worked properly before leaving.
The housekeeping manager was just finishing her inspection when we arrived. The unit was clean, supplies plentiful, and everything worked as it should. Bonus, there was an ice maker in the fridge with the bin half full of cubes already.
All staff on site were pleasant, polite and helpful during our stay. We will definitely be back, and promote it with family and friends "

"I’m honestly very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. For a place that presents itself as a full-service resort, the lack of basic amenities is frustrating.
One of the biggest issues is that there is no room service available at night unless you’re staying on the 9th or 10th floor—which already costs more. What makes it worse is that they don’t even offer the option to pay extra for room service if you’re on a different floor. That kind of restriction feels unnecessary and inconvenient, especially for guests who expect flexibility during their stay.
The food overall was just average—nothing memorable or worth going out of your way for. On top of that, there’s no 24-hour sports bar or late-night food option anywhere on the resort, which really limits what you can do in the evenings.
For the price and expectations of a resort experience, this fell short. I expected better service, more accessibility, and at least some late-night options. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend staying here based on my experience."

"Paul provided some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. He was neither welcoming nor pleasant during check-in, which made for a poor first impression. The room itself was spacious and mostly clean, but the tub had dried soap residue and clearly needs to be replaced because the paint was peeling. There was also a very strange smell in the room.
On a positive note, Makeeba was absolutely welcoming and pleasant. She checked me out with a smile and made me feel appreciated and welcome."

"Pool and hot tub are great. Don't expect service near the pool. you have to go inside to order your drinks.
Rooms was clean but small. was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, so bags get heavy. "

"Property itself was beautiful.Difficulty accessing bell services.There were multiple instances where no bellkeepers were available. When I approached security at the front for assistance, the interaction was not positive. Female security staff member I encountered appeared dismissive and spoke to me in a manner that felt rude and unprofessional.Asked for help with a bellkeeper and transportation via golf cart to my room, I was told to wait and was physically moved aside while she continued her conversation with someone else. I ultimately walked to my room on my own.When bellkeepers were available, they were courteous and helpful, but the inconsistency in service made arrival and movement around the property inconvenient at times. In contrast, the front desk staff were consistently kind, professional, and accommodating, which I appreciated.The first night of my stay went well, but the second night presented a significant issue. There was a flood in my room caused by the shower.Front desk&maintenance responded by mopping the water &placing towels on the floor.Damaged2pairs of my shoes.I was informed that someone would return to properly fix the shower, but no one ever did.I had to use the shower in my friend’s adjoining roomfor the remainder of my stay.I found the food and beverage options somewhat limiting. Coffee sold on the resort was not enjoyable. For breakfast, I was hoping for a simple option such as porridge, but I was informed that I would need to purchase the buffet"
