"As I arrived the front desk was helpful and very accommodating. I enjoyed everything about my solo stay. The property was clean and accessible to everything. Food, entertainment and tour attractions. I will definitely be back."

"The resort is beautiful and quiet. The beach is very small but it’s clean. The restaurants are good. The rooms could be clean better. Some of the staff makes you feel unwanted mainly the housekeeping staff. If the beach was bigger and some entertainment I would definitely return back to the resort."

"This property is okay if you are not planning to explore the island. Staff is very helpful, especially Sharon.
However, the property is over priced for what you get. Every evening it's the same menu. The alcoholic beverages are watered down with limited variety.
We stayed for 3 nights this time and our backs are hurting, because of the mattresses. I have stay at this place several times since they opened over the years but I'm very disappointed with the new management. It's just not worth it...

"Absolutely beautiful property with the most beautiful staff! This was my first solo trip and St. Maarten, specifically, Sonesta Ocean Point made me feel so safe. Everyone was so kind from the airport staff to the custodians. I will most definitely be back!"

"The best Hotel in Philipsburg on the water and boardwalk. The view and layout of hotel was perfect. Restaurant has a great menu and great service."

"Food was great! A majority of the staff was great! Tried the rooms with Bali beds out front and that was a waste of money. No view and filled with ants. Get a higher room with an ocean view.
The beach was useless as it is steep and ground seashells for sand. That said, you cannot beat the view of Simpson Bay.
Great island and will be back when they rebuild. I would just stay at a sister property near the airport next time."
