"With the assistance of desk staff , Tacoma, a personal property loss at the airport was resolved with his efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. kudos to him! Property appears to be in need of renovation and updated maintenance. Stairs difficult without a working elevator. No ability to lock the sliding doors to ground level balcony. AC less than adequate - never got room temperature below 80*"

"Hated the taste and smell of the water. Used bottled water for drinking and brushing our teeth. Wait staff and golf cart drivers were wonderful. Exquisite beach. Did all inclusive- food was okay but later dinner times the wait for things to be replenished was long. Wonderful rooftop restaurant. Nice adult bar. Pools clean. Beach service great. Had to call three mornings to get clean towels. Did an Ecotour catamaran around the island with snorkeling - excellent. Overall we would stay there...

"Food was great! A majority of the staff was great! Tried the rooms with Bali beds out front and that was a waste of money. No view and filled with ants. Get a higher room with an ocean view. The beach was useless as it is steep and ground seashells for sand. That said, you cannot beat the view of Simpson Bay. Great island and will be back when they rebuild. I would just stay at a sister property near the airport next time."

"Lovely hotel in centre of Philipsburg. It is getting a bit dated but everything was there and worked. Good AC. Good beds. We had a large 'suite' with m/w, stove fridge, etc. Excellent location and great staff. Not super fancy but highly recommended."
