We heard every phone call, conversation, text notification, dog, horn, or other noise at all hours. No one was particularly loud either; there is simply no noise insulation. The plumbing is very unreliable; multiple toilet clogs with only liquid in the bowl and the shower water was lukewarm at its best. No towel refreshes, we ran out of toilet paper, no covers aside from a top sheet and small blanket at the foot of the bed.
