A beautiful slice of Indonesian paradise

What an amazing slice of paradise! The hotel is less than a year old, stylishly appointed with friendly can-do staff. Totally unlike Bali - no crowds, no noise, pristine white sand. A shot hop by ferry from Singapore so you can mix the cosmopolitan bustle of Singapore with the laid back paradise that is Bintan Island. I give Hotel Indigo full marks for a beautiful experience! I’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous hotel, only opened last October. Room was so well equipped. Lovely beachside restaurant, great food. Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, pools were amazing. Beach and sea beautiful. I cannot praise this hotel too highly. Highly recommend it for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Three generations on holiday

Three generations stayed at the Hotel Indigo for a week and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is spotless and beautifully designed. We had a fabulous round bath in the window with great views over the beach. The food was excellent, so much so that we didn’t leave the hotel all week. It is situated on a site with a Holiday Inn and you can use all their facilities as well including a really good children’s play area. There are two pools plus a children’s pool so ideal for families.

Relaxing Long Weekend

Relaxing stay with attentive service. The resort grounds are lovely and new, and facilities are well spread out. Food quality was ok given the price and the prices of treatments at the spa (at the neighbouring Holiday Inn) were very affordable. The only downsides were the smell (liken to wet dog smell) that greeted us when we first entered our garden pool suite. It took some airing and a dehumidifier supplied by the resort to mediate the matter plus the safe that kept malfunctioning. Otherwise, everything else made for a lovely long long weekend in Bintan.

Indigo @ Bintan Lagoi Beach is a newly opened hotel as of October 2024 and an absolute gem. There are some ongoing works as of December 2024 and the list of water related activities can increase. The main standouts are the amazingly designed rooms. Each is an ocean view with wood and island living themes. They are aesthetically pleasing and you’ll want to spend as much time in the room as much as the restaurant, pool and other areas. Getting around is easy and walkable. Bikes and buggies are available! We rode the bikes to and fro from our hotel room to the restaurant called Sugarbeats. The food is outstanding. We did not even need to leave the property once because of the quality and taste of the food. Recommended is the local Indonesian dishes where the chef excels in. Other fare options were good too! 5/5 will revisit!

Fantastic get away fir long weekend

Excellent from top to bottom but breakfast and dinner service was slow and personnel still unsure what to do and how to serve. More training needed. EG- my Soup for starters arrived at the same time my Leg of Lamb. Waiter had no idea which he should give me first. Laughable but please at a 5 Star !!

Good but so random!

A nice resort in a beautiful location, but... Service is totally random. I suspect it's the first hospitality operation by the developer with very few hospitality professionals on site. Loads of young staff doing who knows what. They are very polite but most of them have no idea about customer service. They are out of towels every time you arrive at the pool. They ration toilet paper like it's gold (I'd get it if you were catering for Germans but there were none to be seen). Also, the same housekeeping crew left their master key in our room one day! One evening had to walk out of the restaurant without eating as the starters hadn't arrived after 90 minutes. But then there is the big one! For all the big men out there.Their toilets are these eco-friendly things that are so tight that you have to choose if you are going for number 1 or number 2. If going for #2 your average size buddy will be hanging out over the edge of the seat.

Wenn ich 6 Sterne geben könnte würde ich das definitiv. Der Service war exzellent, aufmerksam, unaufdringlich und hat einem das Gefühl gegebenen willkommen zu sein. Wir haben uns ab der ersten Minute wohl gefühlt. Das Essen im SugarBEATS und Stix waren sensationell und abwechslungsreich. Wenn es nicht so weit weg wäre würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
