"Beautiful resort! Great staff friendly and helpful "

"New Aegli is about 1.2 miles from the Poros Ferry landing, and Poros is less than an hour from Pireous Port, (using the fast cat ferries) which is just 25 minutes by Metro Train from Athens city center. I travel to Athens once or twice a year from Portland, Oregon, usually in April/May, and September/October. Athens can get a little crowded w/ tourists, so Poros is a nice escape. New Aegli is my first-choice hotel in Poros. It is right on the beach with great balcony views of the beach and sea....

"Das Hotel ist angenehm, sehr sauber, aber die Zimmer sind seehr klein, die Koffer müssen auf dem Boden liegen und man muß aus dem Koffer liegen - und dies bei einem sog. 5* Hotel. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, aber im Stil altmodisch. Das Bad ist auch sehr klein, 2 Personen passen nicht hinein. Was sehr ärgerlich ist: das Hotel lässt sich , wie auf Hydra ja normal nur zu Fuß erreichen, aber der Weg ist für Rollkoffer - und bepackte Koffer könne heutzutage gerollt werden- nahezu...

"Wir hatten eine absolut wunderbare Erfahrung in diesem Hotel! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Zimmer war nicht nur sehr sauber, sondern äußerst komfortabel. "The property is perched high up, some 120 steps up from the harbour. If you don’t feel like carrying your own luggage you can hire the service of a local mule for 20 euros. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable recommending local restaurants. Our room (201) was situated at the end where of the building overlooking the harbour. We had a terrace at the rear to sit and enjoy a glass of wine but this did not have a view. Our shower doors were missing but this was not an issue.s the...

"WATER EMERGENCY. Located on the edge of town with short walk to anything needed. I booked a 2 night stay, but only stayed one night because I became aware of an island-wide water emergency during the stay. The bathroom smelled terrible. Not sure if this was related to the water emergency or not. This was not communicated in the listing or check in instructions. Only when specifically asked about it did the property manager say the water was safe for hygeine, which contradicted local reports...
