He generously recommended a shop where i could buy delices - and took the trouble to drew me a map of how to get there the following morning. "We had a great stay at this small hotel tucked away in a wooded area of the Vosges. The renovated room was very comfortable with good quality bedding and although the bathroom was a little dated everything worked well with plenty of hot water. What was really outstanding was the lovely brasserie (they also have a large dining room which is used for big group events) where we dined and had breakfast both nights of our stay (other dining options are a drive away).
