"Great apartment in a perfect location. I was on my own, but this would have also been ideal for a family. There is a sauna and hot tub below. Well equipped kitchen. The lady at the reception was friendly and wonderfully helpful. She helped me to get my motorcycle into the garage. I hadn't heard of Henties Bay in the past, it turned out to be a brilliant seaside town for relaxing and walking. There's a good supermarket and restaurants. "Far too busy and noisy. I was offered an upgrade, as expected that was because something was wrong with the upgraded room I was offered - it was above the restaurant, and I could hear the extraction fans and air con whirring noisily. "We arrived at Burning Shore for our prebooked - prepaid accomodation over Xmas holidays - only to find it closed and without any notice on the door. When we phoned we were told the hotel was closed for renovations- and that they had not received our booking or payment ( clearly confirmed in hotels.com) - and no rooms were available in an adjacent/ presumably affiliated hotel ( 2 days before Xmas) .
