"We stayed in the "Upper Deck" suite and it was perfect for us. We loved having our coffee on the balcony with the view of the water. It was clean, comfortable, and an easy walk to the beach or main strip of town. Excellent coffee and plenty of restaurants and shops are a very short walk away while the site is peaceful and feels removed from the tourist area. "We really enjoyed our stay at the castle; it worked out very well for our family of nine. It was so nice to have the laundry there and the view was great with it being on the 11th floor. Sleeping arrangements worked well and having 2 bathrooms was so convenient. There was an issue with the lock/doorknob upon arrival and Mitten was very attentive, even sending a maintenance worker to help solve the problem later at night. We would for sure consider staying again the next time we are in Michigan."
