"Nice Airy room safe hospitable and charming"

"Lovely hotel. Very very clean and staff were so attentive. Next time we will stay for longer than a night and pick a room with sea view."

"The hotel is v good. Great location and the rooms are functional and cosy. The beds are comfortable and there’s plenty of connecivity. Breakfast has a great selection of most things. The staff were very helpful. On the down side the pillows are rubbery and high and there’s not enough coat hangers. The rooms are small and there’s no drawers to put away clothing. Generous very nice hotel to stay."

"The lobby of the hotel was fine. When we walked into our room it smelled musty, we turned on the AC in hopes it would help but the AC kept turning off every couple hours (i woke twice in the night to turn it back on). The pillows were very very thin. The tv connection was poor and kept freezing every couple mins. We were woken at 4 am to the alarm of the hotel and there was no apology or any explanation in the morning until we asked. There’s a shuttle to and from the airport that’s 5 pounds a...

"Stayed in premium sea view room was big and spacious, great views, would of liked a fridge just had a cooler, water available but on a hot day would be best if it was cold, robes and slippers available as well as hair dryer and iron and board, they have their own shampoo and conditioners and body wash, only thing would be the sink in bathroom doesn’t seem to drain well it’s slow and it doesn’t get rid of debris"

"The most awful experience what hotel only offers 2 hours a day to check in?"

"Currently hotel AC being updated but we were not told via email or when we checked in. Telephone in room didn’t work so had to walk down to ask for a fan. Dan didn’t arrive while out at concert. Another trip to reception."

"The room was excellent But what upset us, the room was not ready for 3 check in we had to wait a further 35 minutes before we was allowed in the room. When I complained about the wait I was told You do have the best room!!! Not good enough, we was not the only ones made to wait."

"Upon arrival, we were given a room with an AC that is completely broken. When I brought this up to the front desk, I was told that they can’t do anything except giving me a fan. It is not until I escalated the matter to the manager, I was given a similar room with a working AC. Besides the horrible room conditions and the poor attitude of the staff, the bathroom of this hotel is consistently stinky and I can’t bear staying inside it. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We stayed here overnight as our flight was delayed and arrived near the midnight. There is a shuttle at Gatwick platform 9 (south terminal) that will take you to this hotel for £5. The check in was straight forward and easy. The room was super clean with comfortable bed and quiet. Highly recommend for any overnight stay and easy access to Gatwick."

"The hotel was very conveniently located in the North Laines area of Brighton, a block away from the Royal Pavilion and 10 minutes walk from the railway station. It is a large modern hotel, the room was spacious , the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was excellent. The room was air conditioned, great during the heat wave, and wifi worked fine. All this said, this hotel chain seems to pride itself on using digital technologies and apps, and not having a reception. The checking in...
