"My husband and I booked a deluxe King room for our escape from the kids. We arrived three hours early, and the hotel held our luggage while we explored the city.
When we returned and received our keys, we found out we had been assigned a two-queen room. The front desk told us that all the king beds were sold out. That was disappointing because the bed felt small (or maybe it's just because we're used to a king at home). We decided to split up and stay on each of the beds.
Additionally, the toilet wasn't level and would move every time we sat on it.
Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and greeted us warmly. They greeted be every time I entered or exited the hotel.
The food at The Roux was also delicious. My husband and I enjoyed having breakfast there every morning.
I love the hotel's location and enjoyed using the gym during our stay."
