"The location is paradise, the staff were amazing the food was wonderful… if thinking about booking my advice would be, not to hesitate, we do 2 safari’s book on the day of arrival with the hotel… there own vehicle & driver lunch & refreshments were provided, an all round amazing experience in this little slice of Paradise with zero light pollution (if you like star gazing)"

"Amazing, clean, fully appointed “cottages” - the grounds are on the lake which was explosive with wildlife and great views. Right on the fence line of Udawalawe National Park. The food was EXCEPTIONAL and the staff were some of the kindest people we have ever met. (Big hugs to “Chef”!!! They set up an amazing safari for us where we had THREE leopard sightings - beyond our wildest expectations!!"

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff and the food. Special call out for the manager Sanjeev, who really went out of his way to make sure we’d have a great time. Beautiful rooms (though a bit noisy), very nice bedding, to be honest just beautiful all around. The food at breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, and their curry … outstanding. So so so good, I went for it again the next day. I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation "

"The stay was amazing. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owners of the property who showed exceptional hospitality. The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options. "Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."

J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. "
