"It's Ft. Davis, not going to get much. We've stayed here before, but under different management. Check-in was fine. Asked for suggestions on restaurants, was told I could go to the grocery?? The rooms have been redone, but they are very spartan. The lighting in the room was all overhead ceiling lighting, pretty annoying if you just wanted to sit in the room and read or watch TV. A few table lamps would go a long way. Bathroom faucet only supplied scalding hot water, something wrong with...

"The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!"
