"Hotel claimed not to have been paid by Expedia, billed me a second time on check-in. So I ended up paying twice. Now Expedia and the hotel are blaming each other, neither is being helpful processing my £200.70 refund. Frankly both organizations have absolutely abysmal customer service, really don't care about their customers. The hotel manager was pretty rude and offensive too. 0/5"

"We arrived at hotel reception staff were polite bit not very informative. Didnt tell us where to go for breakfast and what times breakfast was. The property is very dated. It was clean but there had been a repair to the tiles in the bathroom. I think a two year old could of done a better job. We had an executive room which i still thought was basic. Room was very warm. Luckily we took our fan with us so would advise other visitors to do the same. Bed was comfy. We attended a wedding at this...

"I loved the bar and restaurant staff, super friendly and surprisingly good food in the restaurant. The rooms has great cold AC (rare in Europe for some reason). The Rooms are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and a comfortable size as well. Complaints? The pool in the picture is a wellness center next door and is paid, not a free amenity. Everything in here aside from the bar itself seems to close really early..."

"The hotel is great value. The family room was comfortable and fit 4 of us nicely. The room was clean and it was easy to come in and out after hours. The shower was nice but the temperature was either too hot or too cold and looked like the tap needed fixing. Overall a great place to stay."

"The hotel is ok, we had a twin room in the cottage lodge, no 526, it was quite a walk from reception. Most of the staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel is looking somewhat dated, the room needed a good deep clean, shower head and bath mat needed replacing, I did write this to the manger in the initial check in review, as we were only staying 1 night it wasn’t worth complaining about. The car park needs re signing as cars didn’t know which way to go round!"

"It was a nice place to stay before our long flight the next day. Comfortable, nice food in the restaurant. Although the shuttle to the airport wasn't free was worth it to be dropped at the departure gates."

"We really enjoyed our stay and it was absolutely amazing value for what we paid. But here is some more detail; It is a lovely characterful building with lots of free parking and lovely gardens which had deer you can see every day from the large conservatory you eat in or the lounge area. Free good WiFi. It is quite noisy with planes going over every few minutes in peak times. We quite liked to see them so it didn't bother us really. We had the exexutive suite which was a lovely roomy room...

"The attic rooms, which are expensive, are not fit for purpose in hot weather. No air-con, of course, but you can barely open the windows. The sun blasts on to the roof just above and creates an oven! The provided fan was little help. Very bad night's sleep. The unhelpful receptionist told me that the hot room was due to the heat. I asked if we could swap rooms, but he said the hotel was fully booked, despite a portable sign outside saying 'Rooms available tonight'. Breakfast was very poor....

"We booked here last minute, and what a wonderful choice. The staff were simply incredible and really friendly. We came in a little early to see if we could check in early, and within 15 minutes we were sorted. The bar staff were great, we didn't have to wait for service and drinks and again really helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was perfect! It was the Luxe Double room with sea view, and so worth the money! We are definitely coming back again! Please keep up the amazing work, you...

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"
