"Great Hotel"

"It was good."

"We were surprised to find that the majority of the rooms were on the second floor with long staircases and no elevators. Since I have leg problems and cannot climb stairs, the staff was good enough to change our room to one with an elevator. The room was clean, the heat and AC worked well. The parking was a challenge at times. Our room was very small and so was the size of the shower, sink and bathroom in general. We had just the bare necessities. The staff was very accomodating and nice."

"Great place! The price point in the state matched. Great location right in the middle of everything Hood River has to offer. It was nice to walk everywhere. The hot tub was perfect and the sauna is a great hot temperature 195°. We stayed in a king size river view. "I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every little detail! "Beautiful little cottage. The only suggestion is to refine the check in process. Through Expedia I did not get the message to contact us we were checking in after 7pm. Expedia also did not provide my number for them to contact me. He charged my card without contacting me. Despite this the stay was good. "
