This was such a wonderful place to stay!! Staff made it super welcoming and the locations was conveniently in the middle of downtown Hood River. It was so relaxing for a couples trip. We had a couples massage and thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub.P.S the late night snacks were the best.

The rooms are small but very nice. We really enjoyed it. It was clean, modern and sophisticated. The bed was very comfortable. We really like the robes in the room as well. The spa area was nice, but very dark. We did enjoy that you could use parts of the spa area complimentary with your stay. The bar was really nice as well. The front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in. The gal at the spa desk wasn't so friendly.

This place is a hidden gem!!!! The rooms are TINY, but the bed was perfect and the spa downstairs is wonderful. I travel to Hood River every oyher week for business and I really need a hot soak when my day is done. Roof bar was lovely and the view is fantastic. There was even a live jazz trio in the lobby bar the night I was there! You guys will be seeing me OFTEN.

The Lightwell hotel provided an excellent stay. Every staff member we interacted with were helpful and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and had nice amenities. From the base camp to the bar, everything g was excellent. If you are planning to stay, the rooms were small, but very comfortable. When staying at the Lightwell, make sure to visit the rooftop terrace. Great views of the river!

Perfect location in the heart of Hood River. A block from the train station and a short walk to waterfront. Very clean and chic hotel. Rooftop bar area was nice with beautiful river view. Rooms are tiny and thin walls (but they do provide ear plugs). Will plan to stay here again soon.

I stayed in a tiny king room. It was definitely small and would be perfect for a solo traveler. The room was immaculate and cozy. The hot soak tub and sauna were so nice to have available. Everything was within walking distance too. I will be back!

Great location no doubt. However, we were on the fourth floor and there was large HVAC on roof that was loud. They provided ear plugs, which is proof that they know it’s a problem. We had the smaller room with king size bed, but there was no room to put your luggage, except to slide under the bed. Parking was complicated and you had to pay $10 a day for use of hotel. Expensive for such a small room and no parking in our opinion. Staff seemed to be annoyed with addressing our parking concerns and questions. Probably would not stay there again.
