"It was such a joy to return to Ethiopia after 23 years! I left when I was just nine years old, and for my homecoming, I chose Skylight Hotel. I’m so glad I did! The staff were amazing, and the hotel was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Ethiopia has certainly changed from the country I remember, but this experience made my return even more special. I travel quite a bit, and I can confidently say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the location to the exceptional...

"It is a beautiful place with so much greenery. Flowers & plants that were well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable and attractive."

"The entire experience of visiting Addas Ababa, was excellent! The city has a million excellent views, with more than half of them from the Sheraton LUX, which offered it all, convenience, clean, shine and service, we got it all. The best was the staff. I’m coming back soon. As for all the warnings, either someone lying or those some kind soldiers"

"For the price this guesthouse is top tier. I enjoyed my three nights here and will definitely stay here next time I’m in town. The staff were very helpful and extremely kind. The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast menu was great as well. Thanks for everything guys!"

"Lovely and helpful staff. However the hot water was not working and some days no water was coming from the shower. The room was also very cold, but the staff did their best to bring heaters. They also supported us when we were unwell. We ended up leaving early, and unfortunately no refund was provided. However the staff are lovely people."

"Excellent"

"breakfast is good the staff is is more than well come and the room is very clean"

"The staff was helpful and friendly as usual. The view and grounds provide a lovely atmosphere for work and fun. The upgrades to the gym, pool, and spa make it a really enjoyable space to relax. I will definitely stay again."

"Everything is great, but there are no places nearby to buy things, so please prepare what you need in advance."

"Start with the good, property was clean minus ants in the room and other random bugs. Beds were comfortable. There was a breakfast sort of. The not so good -the listing shows breakfast buffet but there is not one. There is also no phone in the room to order breakfast. They also don’t answer the phone when you try to order breakfast so you must go downstairs to order for them to bring back upstairs to you because there is no public dining area. We also booked for two people but were told...

"Fabulous stay except no access to the pool. Staff were amazing especially Hannah who helped us with so many things. Very pleased. Love Ethiopia hospitality! e"

"Excellent hotel close to airport. Great service and food. Highly recommend"

"Overall, this is one of the better hotels I have stayed at in Addis Ababa. The staff are excellent, the hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and breakfast offers a good variety of choices. However, there are a few areas that need attention to bring the hotel up to the standard its other facilities and services suggest. The parking garage is quite tight, making it difficult to enter and exit comfortably. Improving the accessibility and maneuverability of the parking area would be helpful....
