"The food is good, not great but better than average as far as all inclusive resorts go. The drinks (alcoholic drinks that is) are the best I've had in an all inclusive resort. I would highly recommend Yanery at the main bar and Reyson at the steak house bar in the evenings. Poolside drinks are good as well. If you like them sweet, try the Sammy Sosa. Ask for Henry to be your butler as he's the best there is. He does an exceptional job and goes above an beyond what I've seen from any other butlers. The place does need some upkeep on the roofs and main pool and just some general maintenance overall, which I believe they do in November. I would suggest staying in the all adults Elegance Club portion of the hotel when booking. This was our 4th time in 5 years at this resort and we go back for the people, not necessarily the resort itself. The people make this place great."

Barceló Bávaro Beach - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"My husband and I stayed at Barceló Bávaro Beach for 7 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The resort is beautiful, with meticulously maintained grounds. The bartenders, groundskeepers, housekeeping, and most staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our assigned concierge, Luis, fell short. He only made dinner reservations for our first two nights, never followed up, and failed to assist with a room upgrade or rental car as promised. We had to visit Guest Services ourselves to make reservations, but by then most restaurants only had late seating or were fully booked. Our room was older but clean. However, the high bathtub was difficult to use, and I slipped getting out more than once. We asked Luis to upgraded to an ocean-view room, but he did not follow up. We went directly to the manger.. Housekeeping also missed obvious details, including a dusty area under the bed and a bathrobe that appeared used upon arrival and was never replaced. The buffet food was repetitive, bland, and lacked authentic Dominican cuisine. The beach had significant seaweed during our stay. While we understand this is seasonal, the hotel never answered my questions about beach conditions before our trip. We ended up renting a car to find a beach with clear water. This resort has great potential, but better concierge service, improved communication, more flavorful dining, updated rooms with walk-in showers, and greater transparency about seasonal beach conditions would make a significant diff"

"Buenas instalaciones, buena comida bufé. La limpieza es ok pero pudiera ser mejor por ciertos detalles. Deberían de tener lámparas uv para las moscas en el área del bufé y no debieran permitir reservar los restaurantes de especialidad sino el mismo dia, ya que se pierde la oportunidad de comer en alguno de tu preferencia y al que obligatoriamente puedes ir, te sirven en una hora y hasta más….!"

"Très bonne ambiances des activités a tout les bonne nourriture aucun mauvais surprise tout est vraiment inclus La seule j'ai attrapé un peu d'allergie je ne sais pas d'où ça mais tout était bien passé Je vous recommande riu pou un vacances de rêve"
