"We loved the golf course views from our room with balcony and the quiet. Ample parking which was great for check in and check out. Great pool and sauna relaxed well- we didn’t feel like leaving the property so cut down our travel time to enjoy there. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely revisit. Only thing is it’s remote and away from village so eating options limited and have to rely on the property. But I think have to accept that for the tranquility and peace . Will definitely revisit and...

"Cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. Food amazing staff really lovely and helpful. The only let down was the lift not working and having to carry suitcase up 2 floors . Would definitely recommend and certainly would stay again.

"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot.
There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this.
Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good.
A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"Very poor 'welcome' from the receptionist. She seemed miserable and dis-interested. She also could not find our pre-booked details initially and then when she did, tried to charge us an additional £75 even though we had paid in full.
On the plus side, the room was very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only two teabags on the tray, which was either an oversight or just a bit mean."
