Fiona was extra nice and very helpful at check in. There is an indoor and outdoor pool that are very well kept and a hot tub. "It was a pity I was only here one night because I loved this place. Beautiful location surrounded by forest and with a view of Mount Rushmore from the room too. I felt at peace there. Dinner at the pub there was reasonably priced too and it was lovely to sit outside on the verandah enjoying both the meal and the view. There was also a good choice of breakfast which was included. "

"The hotel was great for low frills. Location is everything...there was so much to see and do within walking distance. It is so close to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Our first night in Keystone a severe thunderstorm knocked out power to entire town for about five hours. Not the hotel problem, but unfortunate nonetheless. There were many of us outside on the patio and deck for about an hour. We went to bed without electricity. The pool is insanely cold. COLD. The hot tub was great...

"This place is ultra clean and in really good shape. Everything looked new and was updated. The workout area was ok as was the breakfast but I would not hesitate to stay there again!"
