"We enjoyed our 1-week stay at Hotel LeRoy. The beachfront location on Dover Beach is excellent, and having a good bar and restaurant on-site made our stay very convenient. The staff were amazing throughout our visit, especially Dionne at the reception, who was always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was comfortable, but it could use some updates. The main door was sometimes difficult to open, and there were quite a few chipped floor tiles in the room and bathroom. One thing to note is that the hotel is next to Dover Beach, and on some nights the music from the public beach area continued until around 1:00 AM, which made it difficult to fall asleep. We also heard very loud crickets at night, although that’s obviously not the hotel’s fault. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend Hotel LeRoy to travelers looking for a beachfront hotel in a great location with outstanding staff."

"My 13 & 15 year old daughters, and myself loved our stay so much that if we returned we would stay there again. (We were there for the Ninja Throwdown.) The entire hotel staff were all very welcoming, attentive, kind, and patient. The welcome beverage, I chose the rum punch, was so delicious and strong, I relaxed instantly from the journey; I could not wait to change into a swimsuit to lounge by the pool. Instead, upon checking into our studio room I lounged on the lounger of the balcony, while my daughters took in the beauty of the resort from the balcony table. Although our room was a studio, it was arranged so well that the space seamlessly flowed making it feel larger. We liked the space so much, that we were initially disappointed when they upgraded us to a one bedroom in the next "building" over because THEY were concerned we'd be troubled by stairway repair. They not only upgraded us to a beautiful one bedroom on the same upper level with a bigger balcony, but also gave us a meal credit for the inconvenience. The beach access was perfect! Although we did not enter due to the sargassam that is affecting most of that side of the island, we were able to walk the beach, lounge on the chairs, as well as enjoy the sound of the rolling waves from our balcony. The beautiful colors of the pool from the room, as we night swam in the pool, or as we listened to the music of the talented musicians each night was soothing. I only wish the menu was more varied for picky eaters."
