"Small hotel in the heart of st Lawrence gap
Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood
Beach is a five minute walk away
Grocery store 15 minutes walk
Only thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator on the property
Staff is very helpful"

"Staff was very good. The breakfast and bar service was above average. However, for 5 of my 7 day face cloth and beach towels which were supposed to be in the room was non existant. On my fifth day my A/C was dripping water and pots had to be strategically placed so water did not fall on the floor. A technician did come in to fix it and he was somewhat successful. It did continue to drip but a lot less. Also my outside electrical fan did not work. We did notice that other outdoor fans for other...

"One of the few 'beach hotels' on the island -- many say they are, but you usually have to cross a road, or the beach is 'next' to the property. This is essentially a beach compound and private! The pool is big, clean, lots of seating. Lay around and watch / listen to the ocean, or use a beach lounger with free towels and lay at the ocean. The beach must be 100 feet deep and hundreds of feet wide, LOTS of beach to use to be alone, or gather, play games, etc.

"Our stay at Sugar Bay Barbados was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The resort is beautifully situated on a stunning beachfront with crystal-clear water and soft sand, creating the perfect Caribbean getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with wonderful views and excellent amenities. Guests frequently praise the beachfront location, dining options, and welcoming atmosphere."
