"The location is good and stunning views. the rooms are not kept well and bathrooms were moldy tile. Not good housekeeping."

"We had a very comfortable overnight stay at the hotel. Everything about the hotel was of a high standard. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others."

"Beautiful place to celebrate my birthday, was given a ballon and a gift which was very thoughtful! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the air con in the rooms don’t work and we didn’t sleep very well, even with the window open and fan running all night. I think the rooms may need renovations."

"Alles entspannt und super Zimmer für Rollstuhlfahrer."

"Found the room very comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were very polite and professional. Breakfast was great and a member of staff took the time to walk us in to the tables and explain where everything was. Would definitely stay there again."

"No receptionist, had to call a mobile number on the desk and the receptionist came downstairs. The room was filthy, chair was missing a leg, crumbs everywhere and food in the sink. Room stank of cigarettes and body odour. TV didn't work, half the lights didn't work, extractor fan for bathroom didn't work. Extremely poor experience. Checkout was just throwing our key card into a box, no receptionist at desk. No drinking water, unclean facilities, no hand soap."

"Could not find any staff at check in so had to self check in Not a well lit car park Paid extra to park Great pool"

"This is the worst hotel I have stayed on. We were put in the motel part, like pontins but 20 years older! Front door had light shining through it, light was hanging with loose wires, dead flies, spiders, cob webs, stains on sheets, bed side lights no light bulbs, grouting yellow in bathroom and windows held in with lose paint I did ring to complain but they weren't interested. The hole building needs knocking down. I got an email to say it's being refurbished, and to bear with them. If you...

"Rookery Hall is nothing short of stunning!. What a place. Beautiful grounds, the building is amazing to look at inside and out, the staff can't do enough for you and the Spa to relax. Me and the Mrs were very sad when our stay came to an end. It's a no brainer if you want a peaceful, romantic stay with your loved one. Absolutely brilliant *****"

"Our room was nice and clean. The staff were happy and helpful. The full English breakfast was delicious."

"We stayed at Hollin Hose Hotel and unfortunately , the standard of the room was quite disappointing. The room felt very outdated and in need of refurbishment. The windows were extremely old and difficult to open, the bathroom door would not close properly, and the bathroom tap was loose and moved around when used. The carpet looks quite dirty and, in my opinion not ideal in the a hotel room. There was also a noticeable musty smell in both the room and corridor, with an unpleasant smell that...

"If bennetts bar had music, it would have been more of a spot for us to just hang out. The bar tender was great. The food was great but it was too quiet"

"The room was basic and dated. Bathroom was very dated and grubby. Sheets were clean but things like the kettle were poorly situated in front of the tv on a narrow table too far from the plug. Lamps and curtains and such were very dated. Place was like a rabbit warren and very difficult to navigate. Hardly any parking spaces given the number of rooms and long walk back to car. Wasn’t informed of key pad access numbers to get back on at check in so had to walk all the way back to reception and all...
