"There was really no reason to leave the resort, everything is there. Their spa massages were heaven! I had one each day except when we had to do the island hopping. Gym is 24/7 open which is great. just wished they open their pool earlier than 8am and had more Filipino cuisine available. Staff are friendly and most of them have great attention to detail. "There seemed to be a pack of dogs in the area barking all through the night. One about 3 doors down from our room that appeared to belong to a staff or manager there. The walkway was gated with a sign to keep closed to keep the dog in, the stairs smell of dog urine and the steps were dirty. "Nice bungalows but a bit off the beaten path, fairly far into a dark alley. Pictures online show a pool and tout a wonderful restaurant and bar called Ken's Place. Neither exist following an apparent fire in August of 2023, and the property didnt contact us to let us know of these missing amenities. They were also unwilling to make any changes to our reservation."

"The Henann villas in Alona are our home for a few days when we visit family in Bohol. My little one and I can enjoy the small pool 24/7, which perfectly accommodates our wake times from jet lag. The staff has been friendly (improved over the years), and the response time to phone calls and issues have been quicker. The only thing I would suggest and wish is for the return of the breakfast buffet for their Villa guests at Christina’s café (instead of at the current general buffet places at the Coral and Sea Breeze locations). Also, they should accomodate more for minors who are staying at the Villa when it comes to using (and enjoying) the Lounge. Maybe use the outdoor part of the Lounge for those adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages, and allow kids to use the indoor/air conditioned space? The current situation I find to be too discriminating for kids and for the guest families who are staying at the Villa. I strongly suggest a more FAMILY-friendly setup. Thanks!"
