"The room was not clean. Sheets had multiple stains, walls had fresh mud/dirt/blood type liquid on them, and the floors looked like they haven’t been vacuumed. Bathrooms needed to be re-caulked. The front staff wasn’t very welcoming at check in. Breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast though. No complaints on breakfast food."

"Everything we used was functional and in good repair. The window covering was strange: they had a pull down blackout shade that had a photo of a city on it. To open the shade would be to lose privacy, because there were no curtains or shears to let in any light. Upon check-in, there was a sign that threatened a $50 fine for disturbing adjacent guests, or for theft. We didn't view that as welcoming. There was no complimentary breakfast of any kind, which we expected because it was advertised. There was no coffee pot in the room. Maid service was fairly consistent. I chose the room for the rating online but I would not stay there again. So far I've had 3 less than average experiences with hotels in Alexandria, LA. Still looking for a winner. Fiance's family is there or we wouldn't travel there."

"room was dirty as well as the bathroom and tub were filthy. front desk staff was rude and not helpful at all. outside doors get left open all the time so anyone can walk in at any time and the property is really loud people stay up late making all kinds of noise on all days of the week "

"My room was very dirty around the edges of the walls where it met the floor. I had a saftey pin on the ground next to one of the beds. The ceiling had missing patches of popcorn ceiling plaster. The smoke detector was missing and wires exposed. The tub was stained around the drain, and the drain plug was pulled out and sitting on the side of the tub. The doors to the bathroom were closet doors and did not lock. The hallway smelled like dirty vacuum filters that needed to be changed and bad air freshener along with a touch of sweat (would be the best way to describe it). Some of the towels provided had stains on them. Our tissue box was completely empty when we arrived. The whole place had a bad smell to it, and I couldn't wait to leave. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had."
