"Hotel is a little tired compared to last time we stayed. Food also not as good as it was. Needs some TLC to bring it back to more than a wedding venue or golf retreat."

"Stayed here lots, good hotel"

"I stayed with my daughter for a girls -spa time together. An amazing hotel with a great Spa, we had fantastic food on Saturday night & also a wonderful breakfast before having treatments at the Spa. Room was very clean, comfortable and all staff was very welcoming, friendly and professional. We will be back."

"Staff were nice and helpful. Clean and Safe space to stay."

"A lovely one night stay here pre theatre trip to the Marlowe theatre. The added benefit of good paid onsite parking. "Very nice old building, immediately adjacent to the entrance to Canterbury Cathedral ticket office. Centrally located on the Royal Mile. The main downside is that parking is about 1/4 mile away and Ubers and Taxis can only get you within 100 yards of the door"

"Fantastic location to the middle of Canterbury. Great food and staff."

"What a little gem of a find. Just a stone’s throw outside Canterbury city centre. Plenty of parking. Breakfast more than adequate. Room warm and spacious. Staff on hand to help if you need them. Will be staying here again when we pop down to Canterbury"

"Property was nice and clean, we are family of 4, very spacious room, plenty of comfy pillows and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and plenty of towels. Front desk staff Andrew exceptionally helpful with his smiley 😊 greating. Very close to Dover ferry port (40min).7 Only down side was, the heating in the room wasn't heating enough, as we only stayed 1 night, we managed it."

"Refurbishments are well advanced and a making a big difference to the hotel. However some of the finishing of the work seems rather poor. All in all, not quite up to the usual Holiday Inn standard. Bring your own shower gel?"
