"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."

From the warmest of welcomes and ensuring our room was what we wanted to the kind servers and bar staff, all were warm, personable yet professional. The evening meal and breakfast were some of the best we’ve ever eaten at a hotel. Will definitely be staying again. "

"Room was very clean with nice furniture and modern shower room, staff fantastic, food amazing. We were in the room right above the kitchen, so very noisy (though quieted down at a reasonable time). The bed was very soft (or maybe worn out?), so every time my husband rolled over, the bed sunk in the middle, causing me to roll towards the middle as well."

"Really nice looking property with easy parking. Food was excellent and location was out of the way quiet but still easy to get to. Some negatives was that the matteress was old and soft so you rolled toward the center and one of the receptionists had limited people skills. No conversation loke 'good morning, how was your stay.... anything and one of the advertised benefits of that roaring fire was not kept alight so any though of having a drink after dinner infront of it ..you can forget....
