"The staff were very accommodating in getting us the right room. The hotel might initially not look very good from the outside, but the room was comfortable and clean which is what matters. Not many good hotel options in Montrose to begin with."
"Great front desk people, sofa bed sheets looked used and had crumbs and candy wrappers but we asked for fresh linens and got them right away. Great breakfast."
"This place was lovely! It’s located along the CO River, next to a park and amphitheater, and a long bike/walking path. They have a club house on site that is nice and air-conditioned and has all the amenities one needs. The only thing that would make this place even more excellent would be to have a pool, but even without it we will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend. Just make sure to request an RV along the river in order to get the full experience. There are a few that face the park and not the riverfront.
Do yourself a favor, get yourself some tickets to see some music at Los Colonias Amphitheater (a ten minute walk away— we saw Gin Blossoms, Blues Traveler, and Spin Doctors) and book a few nights for Camp Eddy (it’s also a great RV site). It’s a great little get away!"
"We enjoyed our stay here mostly. Front desk staff was so genuinely helpful, and made us feel welcome and provided times for the pool,10 am-10pm, breakfast, 7am- 10 am. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a table in the room, but no chairs. The Lobby is comfortable and always had ice water, coffee, fresh popcorn and the best chocolate chip cookies. The pool and hot tub were nice and towels readily available. Breakfast was basic, staff unavailable one morning, so no cooked to order eggs and the next morning staff was available, but couldn't accommodate cooking eggs because I arrived at 910 am regardless of the times I was given upon checking in. This was dissapointing, as having cooked to order eggs or omelets was a selling point for us staying here at 133.00 dollars a night as well as reading others raving about this unique offering."
"The front desk staff were super friendly! The room was large ,clean and the bed was super comfortable. We were not there long enough to use the pool but it looked so refreshing"
"We found stuff from someone else's stay under one of the beds, which made me question cleanliness. Also, we were disappointed to find there is no elevator, as we are both disabled."
