Hotel with Gsmreat Character and Friendly Staff

I stayed for just one night in the Malom Hotel on a brief visit to Debrecen and I was impressed. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the centre and main sights and near bus and tram stops. It is an interesting building, converted from an old mill and has great character. It has its iwn restaurant and bar. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and modern, with free wifi, fridge and tv. The bed was very comfortable. All this and a great price too! Definitely recommended.

Interesting building, nice rooms good location

The hotel is a very interesting building. Staff is pleasant, rooms are nice and spacious. Parking is available in front of the hotel but runs out quickly. Was happy with our stay here and would stay again on a return trip.

Debrecen 2018

A good 10-15 min walk from the railway station. The stairs and lift are all built into the windmill part but the rooms are annexed. Nice big room, but no real facilities. No fridge or tea making available. Very small duvet for a double bed too. Wifi was good.

Disappointed second time around

My wife and I stayed at the Malom last year and liked it so much we decided to stay a second time. We booked a room for four days. There was so much difference between the stays we thought perhaps there was a new owner - we were told there wasn't. For a 4-star hotel, it seemed their standards had dropped. There was no butter at breakfast, where the selections were basic, and the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly each day. After three days, we expressly asked that our bed linens be changed, but it was done only partly. Also, the toilet wasn't being cleaned each day. We felt the hotel was on a corner-cutting course of action - very different from the previous year. We don't think we will return.

Small hotel situated a 10 minute walk from city centre. Is very dark at night. Has free parking on hotel grounds. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Room was big but a little sparse and run down. Breakfast was included but not a big/great selection.

Very nice Hotel building is charming

Ein sehr sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer mit Bad war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt gestaltet. Die gesamte Architektur der alten ehmaligen Mühle war gut erhalten und floss schön in das Moderne über. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit in wirklich allem. Das einzige womit wir nicht ganz zufrieden waren, war die warme Küche. Die Auswahl war etwas dürftig und die ausgewählten salzigen Speisen leider viel zu süß gewürzt. (z.B. der Rotkohl) Das Frühstück war viel besser, aber hier war die Auswahl an Konfitüren mau (nur 1ne) und Honig, den gab's leider auch nicht. Wie aber schon zu Beginn gesagt wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Chambre grand, clair, lit confortable.

Nous n'aimons pas le savon dans la salle de bain. :( Le 5eme jour nous avons commande des serviettes net. :( Le petit déjeuner était mediocre. :( Lit grand, confortable, :) chambre grand net et clair, climatise :) L'hotel est loin de la ville maid nous aimons promenader (15 min environ) Le Bar. Nous avons visite le bar quelques fois mais le premier fois nous n'avons payer pas. Les autres nuits nous avons payer (le barman ) chaque fois. Le dernier jour la dame d' accueil me dit je dois régler et j'ai reçu une facture . Quelle choque de découvrir sur mon relevé banque que j'ai payer £65. C'est vraiment evident que nous avons payer 2 fois a le bar. Je crois que c'est un erreur. Es -que -vous avez un email pour l'hotel svp?

An average stay.

An okay hotel. As long as you are expecting a 2-3* guesthouse, then you are getting what you expect. Breakfast was okay, quite limited. The room wasn't too bad, but despite tightly shut windows, the traffic and traffic lights (they make a sound everytime they switch) etc could all be heard quite clearly on the 3rd floor. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend taking earbuds along. The shower is okay, but leaks a bit. As long as you are not paying too much, it is okay for an overnight stay.

Osszessegeben a hotelben minden rendben volt. Egyetlen negatívum hogy a parkoló nagyon kicsi, illetve az utcafrontra néző szobák nagyon zajosak,mert a hotel egy keresztezodesben van. A reggeli bőséges, a konyha jó.

Batiment original (ancien moulin rénové) non loin du centre. Receptionniste gentille mais inexpérimentée et non professionnelle. Chambre single très propre mais mal conçue (p.ex: immense garde robe mais petit lit étroit / listing des prix du minibar sur le bureau mais...absence de minibar !) Petit dej très correct et parking gratuit
