"The shower pod is literally in the room you sleep in at the bottom of the bed. I had no idea this was the case when booking as I’ve never known anything like it! There is zero privacy! The reception staff aren’t very friendly and the service overall is just lacking what you would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I stay here again! "While checking in at the hotel, I mentioned to the young lady that I had not been able to check in for my flight the next morning. She happily walked me through the procedure, even using her phone at times to help me check in. This took time, and she did not have to offer, but she did. This showed the warmness of the staff. The Radisson Blu is a gorgeous hotel. The lobby, the restaurants, and the rooms have a great vibe. It is evident that the staff works hard to keep the hotel exceptionally clean and modern. It is a great bargain for the money. We loved our short visit."

"Small place with crazy stairs, but it was clean and absolutely esthetic Amsterdam. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the ritz Carlton, but man is the location amazing! Perfect location and was only a 5-7 minute walk from Amsterdam central. The neighborhood is amazing and how could you ever be mad in the most beautiful place on earth? The hotel was close to all the restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping that Amsterdam offers. It’s an amazing place and madeesh, the hotel operator (owner?) was super laid back, helpful and incredibly friendly! "
