"Great location and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and restaurant food on an evening. Best shower I've had in a hotel. Unfortunately, the pool area was being upgraded during my stay (of which I was aware), but I was given a free voucher for entry to the wave lagoon as an alternative."

"Excellent hotel and room. My only gripe was toilet paper and tissues were not replenished during my stay and you shouldn’t have to feel like you are rationing when you pay over $300 a night. Rooms could also use a bin."

"Room was spacious but air conditioner even though turned off the fan kept going and was very noisy. Water in shower very poor no pressure for hot water. Taps over sink were marked wrong way around.
