"Pretty decent stay for the price. Our room was insanely spacious, which was awesome because we needed to desperately repack all of our luggage in prep for a backpacking trip through Corcovado. The only downside was that our room faced the gate and the pool and is completely made of glass on that side which made it a bit awkward because you sort of had to make a choice between natural light or privacy. "Loved our stay here!! Beautiful views, porch was a plus, air conditioning worked great, comfortable, and we own had our own parking spot right outside the door. The only small downfall is the entrance is pretty dangerous as it's hard to see cars coming from the one direction. Recommend 1000%! Our favorite stay out of the 4 places we stayed in Costa Rica!"

"Clean small rooms in a well-kept hostel. The staff were great especially Oscar, who greeted us heartily each time he saw us. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and filling. You can't beat the price, especially when you can walk 5 minutes to the beach."

Room was clean, but only charging outlet was in the bathroom or behind the fridge very inconvenient. Staff was not present at the front desk during staffed hours, we waited at least twenty minutes before a staff member would arrive and they do not offer refunds or accommodations to change booking dates."

"We had an amazing time in Costa Rica. This property was clean, view was amazing, staff was super helpful. I'm giving it 5 stars but I do want to note some things for travelers: 1) Parking is extremely difficult due to small parking area. The staff is there to help navigate, but keep that in mind. 2) If you come back late, the parking gate may be locked and it's difficult to get the security guards attention to open it (front desk is gone at a certain time). "From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with warm smiles and salutations, and throughout our stay it remained the same. Alan and his wife (the chef), Ariel, Alan’s brother and Andre and Patricia ( another chef) provided us with a rich history of the area and delicious meals. We slept like babies each night in the spacious lodging provided for us. The mountaintop views are breathtaking and taking a dip in the private waterfall was so refreshing! We totally enjoyed our stay!"
