Superb quality!

I rarely post a review but really want to give this wonderful place a mention. We have been to Hoi An before and wanted a place away from the old town. From the moment we arrived, Ken and his staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The property is in very good condition and very clean. With only 9 rooms, they could provide very personalised service. We were there for 5 nights and we were upgraded to a bigger room after 2 nights when it became available. The balconies of all the rooms look out to a small pool, just big enough for laps and a tranquil street. Breakfasts were just right - you could order as much as you want, both Vietnamese and western food off a menu and the fruit platter that came with the order was excellent by itself. We got used to ordering our breakfasts the night before so as to have it well-prepared when we came back the next morning. An Bang beach is just 5 minutes away and it is a long stretch of very fine sand which goes on for kilometres with the usual beach deckchairs, kiosks, seafood restaurants and water sports facilities sporadically clustered around some parts of the beach, leaving other parts wonderfully quiet and unspoiled. We really enjoyed walking a couple of hours along it after breakfast! There were many small restaurants around the Villa and so finding a place to eat was not difficult. A taxi ride into town is about 15 minutes and not expensive. Ken's wonderful hospitality was the icing on the cake and made our stay really special!

Un petit paradis

Cet hôtel de taille humaine est un havre de paix. Personnel attentionné, déjeuner sublime et piscine invitante. Nous avons passé 6 nuits de rêve dans une chambre très propre, décorée avec goût et dotée d’un petit balcon. Nous avons alterné entre plage et piscine. La plage de An Bang est merveilleuse et près de la villa. Prendre note cependant que l’accès à la plage n’est pas gratuit. En effet afin de profiter d’un parasol et d’une chaise longue il vous faudra débourser environ 50 000 Dong vietnamien pour la journée. Ce n’est pas onéreux mais ce n’est pas gratuit 😉. Autre note,le personnel de l’hôtel vous propose un accès à la mer situé à 400 mètres de la villa. C’est somme toute inutile, car plusieurs accès plus près sont disponibles et surtout avec moins de touristes. Cela dit, ça n’enlève en rien les 5 étoiles que je donne à cet endroit. Un des meilleurs hôtels de la région.

정말 정말 추천합니다!

생각보다 객실이 많이 좁지 않아서 좋았어요. 다만 샤워실에 턱이 없어서 잘 못하면 물이 밖으로 나올 수 있어요. 하지만 직원분들이 너무 친절하셔서 불편함 하나 없이 잘 쉴 수 있었습니다. 그리고 무엇보다 조식이 정말 맛있어요! 내가 주문하고 바로 조리해서 나오기 때문에 더더욱 맛있는 것 같습니다. 수영장도 넓고 수영장이 정말 예쁩니다. 호텔에서 도보로 10분 정도 걸으면 안방비치로 갈 수 있어 충분히 산책삼아 갔다 올 만합니다. 다만 호텔 주변에 많은 호텔이 다 붙어있기 때문에 처음 호텔에 찾아갈 때는 약간 헤맬 수 있습니다. 나머지는 정말 다 좋았어요!!

조용히 지내실 분은 나쁘진 않아요

조용하고 아늑한 곳이였어요 안방 비치랑 가까워서 보도로 음식 먹으러 가는게 편했어요 개인적으로 안방비치까지 가는 동안 현지인들 사는 공간을 지나가야 하는데 새로운 삶의 방식을 겉으로나마 구경하며 가는것도 나쁘진않았습니다. 객실컨디션은 점수를 후하게 주고 싶네요 다만 조식땐 테이블이 없는 경우도 있으니 참고 하세요 가끔 택시기사들이 한번에 못찾는 경우도 있어요 수영장엔 물 소독 냄새가 좀 심했어요

Dai An Phu Villa Stay

We booked the villa based on all round 5 rating and were not disappointed when we stepped into the place. It is tucked away just off the main road feeding in to Hoi An, about 300 mtrs from beach. Place is neat and kept clean by hard working staff. They serve breakfast and have nice variety to it. They can order food for you for lunch from nearby outlet (Tamarind - where one can actually dine in). Convenience shops are around corner where you get anything you need including a pharmacy. Had a small pool but we never used that. Beach nearby is clean and pleasant in evenings. You can relax on chairs with cold beer. There are plenty of them around. Our only concern was the air-conditioning in both the rooms we had. Aircon unit is set on top of a tall shelf thereby partially blocking the flow. Issue is compounded because the rooms are huge in size. So even without such placement it would not have cooled enough. Given that Danang is super hot during Aug/Sep, you will not get any comfort feeling anytime of the day or night. They supplied a water cooler but even that was not sufficient. At least 2 well placed aircon is the need of the hour if guests were to feel comfortable. Other than that nothing else to complain. Staff was super polite and person manning the desk (and actually all operations) was very helpful all throughout. Will recommend to friends if the aircon situation is improved.

A+ well run boutique hotel close to An Bang beach

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dai An Phu Villa over the CNY break. This is a new (4-5 months' old) family run hotel with a homely and friendly vibe about it. Our room was spacious and very clean, everything was new and in neat condition, and the staff were all extremely helpful and amiable. We took advantage of the airport pick-up and drop-off service available (US$18 each way which is a very reasonable rate) and upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner - who happens to be a very humble and nice guy, and we only realised he was the owner of the place when we checked out and got to chat in a bit more detail. The staff were respectful of our privacy and didn't even feel their presence around the house at most times. The hotel serves a great and plentiful breakfast that I'd encourage any guest to try. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the coffee and the delicious omelette banh mi. Location is quite private, on a remote alley just next to An Bang market and An Bang beach (by far our favourite in Hoi An). The street was quiet at all times which allowed for a GREAT sleep - AC wasn't too loud, the bed was super comfy, and the sheets smelled nice (we later found out they use organic cleaning products). The beach is a 3-4 min leisurely walk away from the villa and there are minimarts on the way where you can stock up on water, sunscreen etc. Overall, I'd say this hotel was fab value for our $ and we'd come back in a heartbeat.
