From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for by the staff (especially Jason who has already reached out to me in advance to understand our arrival time) and fell in love with the setting, which is nestled beautifully into the mountain forest. "Hotel Belmar was the perfect place to stay in Monteverde. Since we were working remotely for most of our trip, the meeting rooms and Wi-Fi were excellent—quiet, comfortable, and reliable for video calls. "What a unique stay! Bungalows are in the woods surrounded by nature. We felt secluded and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. The hiking trails were wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and modern and come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Also conveniently close to restaurants and shops. Loved it!"

"This was the most beautiful hotel and property I have ever stayed at! (Which I guess is reflected in the price...) Everyone was kind and lovely. The breakfast was amazing! The dinner options were excellent portions as well! Unfortunately we arrived the day before they closed the pool and hot tubs for maintenance."

"We loved our stay at your spacious little apartment. The room was perfect and the plants and trees there were beautiful. Our host, Arelys, was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our outings. Her experienced husband took us on a night walk in the cloud forest and taught us a lot about the local flora and fauna. It was very educational and a lot of fun. Pura Vida! "

"Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!"
